Yes, no, maybe is all I need to hear from you
I had a mid-teenage-life crisis this weekend: I got rid of 6 bags full of clothes. And took down my curtains. My bedroom feels so fresh and clean, now. Also, last night I watched Lost In Translation which was fantastic. I really love Sofia Coppola. I also discovered the band Cut Copy. Love at first listen. :o)

But maybe I wouldn't like death if death were good
I'm listening to: Dying Is Fine by Ra Ra Riot. Scratch that, my sister is listening to that, and I can hear it. I just recently burned her a CD for her birthday, and it is so nice to hear the lovely melodies of Phantom Planet, Charlift, and the Kooks floating around my house, rather than Britney Spears and the Pussycat Dolls. Ugh, my sister has terrible taste in music. But I'm trying to expose her to some indie, and I think she's liking it. :)

Incredible song you should all listen to: The Past is a Grotesque Animal- Of Montreal. It's amazing. The song is really long, 11 minutes or something, and usually I shy away from long songs, but this one is incredible. I love the lyrics as well.

Cheated by the opposite of love
I have a terrible camera, a Nikon Coolpix. I bought it because it was cute and purple.. smart thinking, Emma. I think I'm going to save my money to buy a nice SLR. Anywho, here are some pictures I managed to take with my purple piece of .. camera material?

Though these photos don't show it, fall is here! I absolutely adore fall; it's my favorite season because (1) my birthday is in October, (2) it's the perfect temperature: not to hot and not too cold, (3) the trees turn such pretty colors, (4) Fall Fashion Week, (5) september issues [the movie was fantastic as well, you should all see it], and (6) scarfs and boots and sweater.. layers layers layers! Pumpkin pie is an added benefit. :)
